The Maine Law Officer's Bulletin is a publication focusing on information beneficial to law enforcement officers
in Maine. The mailing list for the bulletin is also used to provide topical and timely information to law
enforcement officers in the state. The bulletin was developed by Brian MacMaster and was first issued in
November 1999. MacMaster is the director of investigations for the Maine Attorney General's Office and the
chair of the Board of Trustees of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. He has been a fulltime law
enforcement officer in the State of Maine for 38 years. The bulletin is still prepared, edited, and distributed by
